The NWC Library's new discovery system, Primo VE, is very powerful tool!
If you are having any trouble working in the new system, don't worry, we are
standing by to help.
If you have trouble with initial access, send an email to the librarians with
a note that you can't get into Primo VE. Contact them at: libraryfeedback@usnwc.edu
For NWC library users who do not have a CAC reader at home, or who depend on
Blackboard for remote access, the system will work for you. You can search Primo VE
without being logged in. If you click to access a digital item such as an article or an eBook
from one of the electronic collections, you will be prompted to authenticate with Blackboard.
You can email single record data, or batches of items to yourself, and download citations
to RefWorks without being logged in. The basics of working in Primo VE without being
logged in are covered in the Primo VE 101 handout. If you are unable to log in using your CAC, you can log in with email. Here is an instruction about logging into Primo VE.
