In this post we'll look at limiting your search to electronic journal articles in the Google-like
search box (Primo VE). 

Tweaking Your Results and Number of Results

Availability 

• Select Electronic Resources 
• Select Peer-reviewed journals
• Investigate NWC full text articles first by not choosing open access materials
• Consider open access when needed

Resources Type   

• Select the option for articles

Apply and Reset Filters 

• Apply your chosen filters 
• Reset filters to select new filters 

Article Availability   

• View Online Availability to download or email the article, get a permalink, and
  export the citation to RefWorks when the option is provided
• Use the Download the PDF option when available or download from the electronic
  resource

• Search on Russia build-up Ukraine 
• Search on Ukrainian Border 
• Sort By: Date (Newest First)

Interested in finding book titles only when searching the library's Google-like search tool? In this
post we'll look at limiting for books using the guided filters on the left under Tweak your results. 

Availability 

• The Held by NWC Library option indicates physical holdings in the library collections 
• Occasionally there are no physical items

Resource Type 

• Limiting for books and book chapters retrieves eBooks and eBook chapters
• The option for books also retrieves physical titles when available

Filters

   Apply the selected filters to see search results. 

   Reset the active filters to select new filters.

Location 
Notice the book's location followed by the call number in the results.  

    Online availability indicates an eBook format option.
