NWC Library Research & Instruction Services: In-Person Workshops

The purpose of this guide is to enhance and guide the research process. It is compiled to address specific questions regarding research and the how-to's of utilizing library resources

Library Workshops

At the start of each academic term, the Library hosts workshops to all incoming students.  These workshops focus on topics such as database searching, the use of ebooks, finding journal articles, and navigating the library website.  Information on times and dates for these workshops are sent through email, advertised on flyers throughout the campus, and posted via Facebook and the library website.  Most workshops are first-come, first-served; but others may require reservations.
