Kevin Mallory, former CIA case officer and Army veteran, was arrested and charged June 2017 with transmitting top secret documents to Chinese intelligence agents. He was convicted on June 8, 2018 of charges of conspiracy to deliver, attempted delivery, delivery of defense information to a foreign government, and making material false statements.
