Mostafa Awwad, CIV

Mostafa Awwad, former civilian engineer in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department at the Navy shipyard in Norfolk VA, was arrested in 2014 for attempting to send data on the U.S's newest nuclear powered aircraft carrier to undercover FBI agents who he believed was working fro Egyptian intelligence.  Awwad pled guilty to charges of attempted espionage, and was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
