James F. Hitselberger

James F. Hitselberger, an ex-Navy linguist who worked as an Arabic translator in Bahrain, was charged in 2012 with unlawful retention of national defense information in violation of the Espionage Act og 1917.  He was accused of removing classified documents from a secure space at the base in Bahrain.
