2. Enter your username and password.
3. Click on "What is my ID?"
4. Your Library Patron ID is shown. If the ID does NOT begin with letters, add the first initial of your first name, and the first initial of your last name to the 7-digit number displayed.
Your Empower number is 7 digits long and is assigned automatically when you are added into the NWC database. Without your Empower number or a Naval War College key tag you cannot check out material from the Naval War College Library correctly. It is important that you know it in order to successfully utilize all the resource the NWC library has to offer. The Empower number assigned to students is located through a different means than a faculty's empower number. Faculty members who cannot locate their ID should contact circulation.
