The “Urban Outbreak Online Simulation” finds players responding to a notional disease outbreak in a fictional developing nation. Building on the work of the 2019 Urban Outbreak wargame, the simulation requires players to identify key stakeholders and actions to respond to a rapidly unfolding public health crisis. Informing players of the complexity of conditions and better preparing future leaders in decision making in humanitarian response operations, the single-player game is available free-of-charge for the public to try.
