Curbside Book Delivery Service Guidelines

Starting August 17th, the NWC Library will implement a no-contact curbside pickup service to support book requests as access to the physical collection remains restricted:  

  • Books may be requested by placing holds in the catalog or by sending a citation via email to the circulation department at

  • Requested items will be checked out to patron, placed in a paper bag, and stored on a book cart ready for pickup in the screening area of P2 garage. Bags will be labeled with the patron’s name.  

  • Curbside pickup service is by appointment.  

  • Circulation staff notifies patron via email when the items are available and explains procedures to follow:  

  • 1. Schedule an appointment for pickup anytime Mon/Wed/Fri during 1300-1530 hours. 
  • 2. When patrons arrive in P2 they call staff at 841-4386.  
  • 3. Staff comes to P2, places books on cart and confirms patron is there, and then leaves.  
  • 4. Patrons are instructed to call 841-4386 to cancel or reschedule.    


Book Returns

1. Items may be returned at any time by placing them in the ‘Book Return’ located in P2 screening area.  

2. A library book return bin has also been placed in the vestibule of the quarterdeck entrance for you to return books at anytime.

  1. Enter keytag or Empower number to login to account. 

  1. Search for item. 



  1.   Place item on hold.
