This research guide provides access to a broad range of resources in the Philippines studies. It was developed in support of the JMO curriculum, and as a portal to highlight the many resources available to begin an in depth study of the Philippines.

The Philippines

According to The World Factbook, the Philippines is slightly less than twice the size of Georgia, and slightly larger than Arizona. The Philippine archipelago is made up of 7,107 islands; favorably located in relation to many of Southeast Asia's main water bodies: the South China Sea, Philippine Sea, Sulu Sea, Celebes Sea, and Luzon Strait.
