If you wish to obtain books or copies of periodical articles that you have identified from searching any of the online databases, you may request an Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Materials need not come from the Naval War College Library; they can be obtained from other libraries. Interlibrary Loan is a
cooperative arrangement among libraries through which one library borrows materials from another. Note that, depending upon the policies of the lending library, certain types of publications, such as reference works and videos/DVDs, may not be available for loan. You may request an Interlibrary Loan at your local public library or from an institution with which you are affiliated. Many public university libraries will process Interlibrary Loans for you if you are a state resident and can show proper identification.
