Counterintelligence: Monica Witt

Monica Witt

Monica Elfriede Witt is a former U.S. Air Force Intelligence specialist who was charged with espionage on behalf of Iran.  She was accused of espionage and the conspiracy to commit espionage.  On February 8, 2019 a grand jury indicted Witt, charging her with Conspiracy to Deliver National Defense Information to Representatives of a Foreign Government and Delivering National Defense Information to Representatives of a Foreign Government, specifically the Government of Iran.  An arrest warrant was issued for her arrest.  Witt is to believed to reside in Iran, and is considered a fugitive.
